Sam's Exotic Travels to Picturesque Switzerland

Our Switzerland travels were short.  We arrived in Lucerne in time for a sunset cruise from Milan, then left at 10:30 for Mt. Titlis, where we took a series of three cable cars to the top, had lunch and after an hour of free time took the cars back down the mountain to the bus and started on the long road to France.

My photo albums for our whirlwind tour follows:

  •  Lucerne - An hour south of Basel and Zurich, and boasting invigorating mountain views, lake cruises and a picturesque old quarter, LUZERN (Lucerne in French and English, Lucerna in Italian) has long been one of Europe’s most heavily touristed towns.

  •  Mt. Titlis - The glacier paradise Titlis at 10,000 feet (3,020 m) offers a snow and ice experience at the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland all year round.
